Week 1: Online Coursework

Our comprehensive program is designed for students who want to enter the healthcare field with confidence. We combine practical online coursework with hands-on skills training and supervised clinical experience.
Week 2: Classroom & Skills Lab
Monday - Wednesday
Week 2: Supervised Clinicals
Thursday - Friday
Coursework Deadline
Saturday at 11:59 PM Eastern
Payment Options
Students can pay in full or contact A&E Nursing Skills to arrange a plan directly with us.
Your balance must be paid in full prior your course start date.
Program Requirements
Ensure you meet all necessary criteria to begin your healthcare education journey with us in Akron, Ohio. Background check information will be sent after registration. All documents must be completed prior to Monday of in-person week.

Age Requirement
Must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in our CNA program.

Government ID
Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID must be provided.

Background Checks
Background checks are required. Instructions are provided after registration.
​Please allow at least two weeks for background check results.

Health Clearance
Documentation of TB screening and physical health clearance.
On-Site Testing Update
We’re working to become an approved state testing site! Our goal is to offer on-site testing in early 2027, so you can complete your CNA training and take your state test right here at A&E Nursing Skills in a setting you already know.
